Vienna/Frankfurt (euro adhoc) - -       C-QUADRAT records 95 % increase in net
profit
-       Total revenues EUR 29.2 million
-       Net profit EUR 2.5 million
-       Significant growth in assets under management to EUR 4.6 billion

In the first half of 2013, C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005) realized
total revenues of EUR 29.2 million (first six months of 2012: EUR 21.4 million;
+36 %) and a net profit of EUR 2.5 million (first six months of 2012: EUR 1.3
million; +95 %). Management fees accounted for 82 % of the revenues and
performance fees for 18 %.

Earnings per share in the first half year 2013 amounted to EUR 0.56 
(first six months of 2012: EUR 0.29).

Assets under management (AuM) have also followed a positive trend. As
per June 30, 2013, AuM had risen to EUR 4.6 billion. This figure is 
consistent with a 59 % increase in the last 12 months (June 2012: EUR
2.9 billion) or 8 % in the first six months of 2013. The significant 
increase in assets under management was due to the positive 
performance recorded by the C-QUADRAT products, the company's 
successful marketing activities and its acquisition of Asset Manager 
BCM (London and Geneva) and APM (Vienna) as well as its new holding 
in QC Partners, Frankfurt.

"2013 has got off to a good start. C-QUADRAT is well positioned and 
offers a highly diversified product range. Our funds have delivered 
excellent performances, a welcome development for our investors. In 
the second half of the year, we will also focus on setting up an 
institutional distribution channel and concentrate on the subject of 
microfinance", adds Alexander Schütz, management board member and 
founder of C-QUADRAT.
